The HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ Core combines highest performance with maximum compatibility. It is a GPU-only water block which was designed to ensure maximum compatibility with both reference- and manufacturer designs of graphics cards. This is made possible by the variable mounting system and the high clearance.
An extremely fine cooling structure makes excellent cooling performance possible. The powerful cooling plate from the HEATKILLER® CPU series is used as the contact surface for the GPU. Despite its elaborate cooling geometry, the water block features a low flow resistance.
Fittings can be connected at the side of the water block, as known from the HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ series. This avoids unnecessary blocking of Mainboard expansions slots by tubing and fittings. Connection threads on both sides of the connection block give a wide range of possibilities for integration into the cooling loop. The fittings are spaced 25mm apart.
With this water block, only the GPU is cooled. For voltage regulator modules and RAM blocks additional coolers may be required. These coolers are not included with this water block! RAM heatsinks with a maximum height of 6mm can be used with the HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ Core.
Two additional MicroSystem connection threads (M5 threads) are also integrated into the HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ Core. This bypass allows parallel installation of optionally available HEATKILLER® microSW-X water blocks, making active cooling of the voltage regulator modules on many graphics cards possible.
Highly pure electrolytic copper is used to manufacture the cooling plate. Both the top and the connection block are made from high-grade black POM.
For use in Multi-GPU systems separate CF/SLI connectors are available.
